You Might Prefer Personalized One-on-One Coaching because....
YOU SET THE AGENDA:Are you clear about what you want? Generally, by the time a person notices they are overwhelmed, burned out or just plain bored, the mind is a bit fuzzy and the body is numbed. All you know for sure is that you are not happy and most likely, stressed and frustrated about what to do next. The alliance that is created by you and your coach provides a supportive environment in which to explore and clarify what's truly important to you. Are you tired of helping others, or just plain tired? What can you do immediately to gain some relief while you figure it out? What are you truly good at? What do you love about your life or wish you had in your life? What are the pros and cons of doing the same old thing or moving on? What might be available to you if you were to kick it up a notch- in the right direction? It's your agenda and your coach will help you keep those big and little dreams alive while you go about getting things done.
YOU SET THE STAGE: You choose between telephone coaching (which works really well for busy folks), Zoom coaching (which offers sight and sound) or In Person Coaching in Grass Valley, CA).
YOU SET THE CHALLENGE: If you are really serious about moving on with your life, weekly coaching is best as it accelerates the process and ensures momentum and accountability. However, if you find yourself challenged by time and/or money, bi-weekly coaching can also be beneficial, although the process of change might take longer. Or, you might find a combination of initial weekly sessions, followed by bi-weekly sessions and tapering off to monthly sessions works best for you. The great news is, you get to decide for yourself.
YOU SET THE FREQUENCY: Because coaching is about CHANGE and change can be scary to one's mental psyche (triggering unconscious resistance and self-sabotage), I highly recommend you commit to a minimum of three months of coaching (between 9 to 12 sessions). If you sign up for regular coaching (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly), you'll also have access to me via email in between sessions for quick accountability check ins or to get support and encouragement. As a member of your success team, you can count on me to be there for you. Depending upon the nature of the challenge you wish to meet or exceed, some clients enjoy the benefits of coaching so much they stay on for a year or two. Again, your choice. And, you can always take a break and come back when you are ready for your next challenge.
Is Your Team Functioning as Well as Your Business or Organization Would Like?
Using a variety of services (coaching, consulting, training, assessments), Coach Janice will help your team become more satisfied and productive. She might begin with a Team Practices Inventory (via online assessment) to identify team key behavioral strengths and weaknesses (such as communication, competency, goal clarity, conflict management, leadership, etc.). Next, after a thorough feedback session with the team, Coach Janice would lead and facilitate a team brainstorming and strategy session to identify and agree upon key steps to maximize the team's strengths and close the gap between where the team is now and where they desire to be.
Weekly group coaching sessions would help the team stay on track and in action....and all the while, Coach Janice will be modeling effective coaching skills to increase the team's ability to communicate and work together more effectively. To ensure accountability and success, the team would retake the Team Practices Inventory within six months of the initial test to celebrate successes, check on progress and recalibrate for the future. During this process the Team Leader might also receive one-on-one coaching to shore up his/her team coaching skills and effectively transition Coach Janice out of a coaching job.
This is just one scenario, a team coaching engagement will always begin with the team's desired outcomes in mind and design a plan that will help the team accelerate achievement and engagement.
